POISONED CANDY RECORDS CAME INTO EXISTENCE IN MISSOULA, MONTANA IN THE YEAR 2000 AS A WAY TO SYNDICATE DIFFERENT PROJECTS I WAS INVOLVED IN. IT MADE SENSE TO PUT OUT ALL THE MATERIAL UNDER A COLLECTIVE ENTITY AND IT HAS SINCE GROWN INTO A DISTRO, A SCREEN PRINTING SHOP AND YET ANOTHER OUTLET FOR ANARCHIST PROPAGANDA. IN JULY 2006 I RELOCATED TO PORTLAND, OREGON TO FURTHER SPREAD THIS DISEASE THAT ORIGINATED IN THE COLD, SECLUDED, MOUNTAINOUS HOMELAND OF THE UNABOMBER AND DAVID LYNCH.

Squalora is home from a failed west-coast tour (due to broken van). We made it to Arcata, and to Missoula for Total Fest. We also have a new LP/ CD coming out on Wantage usa/ Defector/ Repetitively Futile Records really soon. I am printing record sleeves for bands now and the anarcho-syndicalist flags are once again in production.

New shipping rates! I have tried to keep the shipping charges to a minimum and I've been getting screwed because of it, especially with the t-shirts. So I have had to make a small adjustment. 1. I am back in Portland now and finally found a place to live, so things are getting back to normal. I have redesigned the site (again) so it should be easier to find everything now. And if you ordered something during the holidays, your order will be sent out this week. Sorry for the wait. Also, there are some new goodies to the distro from the Philippines and a kick ass demo from the band SKATE EDGE

It's been almost a year but I still can't help wonder, how could anyone think the world deserves a loss like this? With all of the tortured people Kate helped, she helped them make it through each day; why did we even bother to survive this far to see it end like this? I'm sorry, but this should never have happened. If there is a god, he's at the top of my shit list. Kate, you will always be missed and I hope you can hear us wish you a happy birthday. We will keep your memory alive in our hearts.

The relocation to Portland is finally complete. All the mail sent to the old address will all soon be forwarded to the new address. No current plans for a new release because the move out here emptied my pockets, but the distro section is still continuing to grow and there will hopefully be a new release in a few months.
